Membership Information Thank you for visiting our Web site and expressing
interest in the The Coast Guard Auxiliary is the civilian arm of the We are a volunteer organization committed to assisting
the Coast Guard in accomplishing it aims and missions. Our members take
great pride and personal satisfaction in the volunteer work they do. As
a volunteer, trained and prepared to protect the lives and property of your
fellow boaters, you have the opportunity to provide a public service of the
highest order. In addition, the benefits of membership such as discounts
on your insurance, extensive educational opportunities and the fellowship of
our organization are valuable. While experience or expertise in areas such as education
and boating is helpful, the Coast Guard Auxiliary will train you to perform
in any of its missions which may be of interest to you. In addition to
attending meetings, your involvement in one or more of our programs is
necessary to maintain a strong Auxiliary. Instructors, Boat Operators,
Boat Crew Members, Radio Watch Standers, Vessel Examiners and personnel to
hold staff positions or elected offices are always in need. If you are
willing to contribute your time and expertise to the Coast Guard Auxiliary we
need you as a member. Our Flotilla holds it's business meetings on the second
Thursday of every month at building 611. deck 2 of

Public Education Training classes are being organized at this time! WE TRAIN; No Experience or Boat Required Men and Women age 17 and older are welcome To Learn More about the Contact: Mike Kaff or Ralph Traub Coast Guard Auxiliary Spring Classes: Your local Coast Guard Auxiliary is holding classes
locally for instruction in "Boating Safely." These courses are
meant for the new and returning boater to become familiar with the ever changing
world on the water. Taught by experienced Coast Guard Auxiliary members
with years of boating experience the courses are from 1 DAY or 4 weeks in
length and segments can be taken in which you are interested. There is a
final examination and a certificate which may save you money on your boat
insurance, issued to all who complete the courses. In Queens at Fort Totten the class starts 20 March at
